Love & Coffee
I got a package in the mail yesterday from my friend Corrie. She and I share a passion for Brasilian coffee, and another friend of hers sells fair trade organic coffee called Brazilian Love (from a company called Crown Coffee. My package contained a bag of this coffee, and under the bag is the funnest t-shirt ever. It says:
Make Brazilian Love.
Without the coffee, it's just a dirty t-shirt. I love it.

I. Love. My. Job.
I started working a few weeks ago, and though my job is stressful (what with sick patients and emergency calls to open stores an hour late), I am really enjoying it. God has been gracious to remind me over the past few days that what I am doing is a ministry. It's not really all that religious in nature, but it's service, in more ways than one.
It also pays the bills.

It has begun.
Though the dawgs had an abysmal start on Saturday (who schedules a season opener against the #9 team anyway?), I still love college football. My mom just sent me this, and it warms my heart. This IS college football:
It is people believing that their coach can walk on water. And it is those same people firing a coach who wins ten times a year because of the one team he can't beat.
It is brides and grooms sitting down with a calendar and a schedule so they don't mess up and plan their wedding on the same day as the "big game"-and it's the bridesmaids and groomsmen and fathers of the bride understanding that they are all big.
If you know anything about college football, please read the rest here.
