A couple came into the pharmacy today from another city and the man asked if we could call his pharmacy at home and transfer his "recreational drug" (his words, not mine). Being a product of the 1980's, several recreational (and altogether illegal) drugs crossed my mind -- cocaine, marijuana, meth. He must have registered the confusion on my face, because he soon clarified. "Cialis." The stuff of commercials during male-dominated sporting events.
Please. I will be glad to fill your Cialis (or Viagra, or Levitra), but please don't try to make me think about how you use it. I don't want to know about your sex life. Please.

Ba ha ha! Jen what a fun moment that must have been! The joys of pharmacy...do they teach a class on ALL the recreational drugs out there?? Out here - recreational would fall into the initial category you were thinking of. In fact, you don't even have to go to the pharmacy in Cali - just down on the Santa Monica pier or muscle beach and the man behind you in line for a hot dog will offer it to you openly and freely. West Coast fun!
Here in TX if you're a member of the Native American church, you can harvest peyote legally. I think that's hilarious. And in Cali, well, that just wouldn't surprise me.
